UPDATE: I’m not sure what happened to Rachel who, by the way was a phenomenal employee, but it seems like kindness and customer service went out the door when she did. The new manager Maggie has been nothing but rude and insensitive since our very first encounter. I rented my 10x10 at $68 a month and after 3 months, my rent more than doubled in price. When I called to express my concern about the price increase, I was told that there was nothing they could do. I brought up the advertised price online & told them that they were offering the same size 10x10 unit and the next size 10x15 unit at a less expensive rate than the price they increased mine to. She stated that there was nothing that could be done and that if I wanted to pay more and move into a bigger unit, that I could do that but they could not help me with the price of the unit I was currently renting. I expressed to her that I am a single mom and I rented with U-Stor Bell because the monthly rate was something I could afford and having 24 hour access was something that incentivized me as well, so that I could work around my busy schedule without feeling stressed about having to be in and out of my unit before a certain time. In June, I was diagnosed with lymphoma, and just recently had to have emergency surgery to have two of my lymph nodes removed in my neck and was hospitalized for 5 days. Because of these recent health issues and the fact that I barely make ends meet as it is, I fell behind on my payments and was locked out of my unit. I had received and invoice 2 weeks ago that implied that a check would be acceptable as payment, and even stated who to make the check payable to on the invoice multiple times. When I went to pay my bill in full, I handed the check and the invoice to Maggie who stated she would not accept it because it needed to be paid via money order. Not once did it express this on any of the correspondence I had received by them in the past. On 8/31/26 my mom, who lives out of town, offered to pay the bill in full for me over the phone so that the stress would be taken off of my shoulders since I have been dealing with these recent medical problems. Maggie told me no. That I had to pay by money order. I explained to her that my mom didn’t live in Phoenix and had no way to get money from her credit card to get a money order. So instead of accepting payment IN FULL I was denied the opportunity to clear the bill and because of that I am at risk of losing my unit to auction this month. I requested the district managers contact information and was denied because Maggie had allegedly just spoken to her and was told that payment would not be accepted unless it was a money order. I called another U-Stor location and asked if this was a company policy and the manager at that location stated that it was typically a policy, however it was at the discretion of the store manager and upper management. He offered me the contact information for corporate so that I could speak to either Kevin or Nancy and that they would be able to assist me further and help me get the bill paid. I called corporate and left voicemails for both Kevin and Nancy and never received a call back or acknowledgment of the situation I am currently going through. On top of all of that, U-Stor Bell took away 24hr access and has changed their gate access from 6am to 9pm. So not only did they increase the rent for what appears not just me, but for many others as well, they also took away the biggest incentive of 24hr gate access. I am incredibly disappointed. And this not only affects me, but my children as well. We lost everything and had to leave our home in April due to a domestic violence situation. And we finally got our own place to live again and we can’t even get the things that make our home a home because these people refused payment in full on the unit they’re now holding hostage from us. I feel discriminated against and the fact that they’re okay with treating someone who’s fighting to survive this way is disgusting. DISGUSTING.

Excellent customer service, no need to over think if you get stuck, just ask, they'll work with you. Highly recommend U store self storage great people, clean facility n good vibes.

RENTERs BEWARE, I've been renting at this location for just about 5 months. U-Stor got me in the door with a special price for an 8by10/12 unit, Within 2 months, they increased the rate by 100%. Today, I just received another notice of a monthly rate hike. Please think wisely before renting here, had I done the research up front, there are many Public Storage locations offering 50% reduced rates from U-Stor and they will hold the rate for 12 months! Also, know that there are many indigent people on the property and you may not always feel safe visiting your unit alone. Do yourself a favor now and shop around for rates that will be honored for at least 12 months.

So far so good, I had to reclean parts of the floor in my unit, from the previous renters mess but the parking is okay, the outside lights are near my units and right across the street I can buy a soda or ice for the hot days Im organizing what's left of my belongings.
